Avril Ramona Lavigne Whibley atau yang populer dengan nama Avril Lavigne lahir di Belleville, Ontario, Kanada, 27 September 1984. Ia adalah penyanyi pop Kanada yang telah mencetak record penjualan album terbaik, selain sebagai penulis lagu wanita dengan usia termuda.

Avril telah merilis album, Let Go (2001-2003), Under My Skin (2004-2006), dan The Best Damn Thing (2007–Sekarang).
